Free Gift Basket Contest Winner
From 20 December to 31 December 2008, Appetizing Muse ran a contest for a free Pillsbury gift basket. Participants sent their favorite holiday recipe or favorite recipe in general. We were especially interested in original recipes, or dishes that included unusual ingredients but that were still somewhat easy to prepare. Recipes from all categories were welcomed, and were not limited to desserts. Canine and feline recipes were also accepted.
On New Year's Day 2009, the winner was picked: LaRue Bloomquist from Bountiful, Utah won for her family recipe Toscakaka (Swedish Almond Cake). Congratulations LaRue, and enjoy the gift basket!
