Russian Fruit-Spice Tea
3 lemons
3 oranges
1 pint pineapple juice
2 quarts tea (steeped or instant)
2 TBS whole cloves
2 C sugar
Boiling water
In a large bowl, squeeze the juice from the lemons and oranges. Add pineapple juice and cloves. Pour boiling water over the cloves and let stand for ten minutes. Strain the juices and the cloves. Add the sugar; mix well. Add the tea (made from tea bags or use instant tea). Heat to boiling. Serve hot.
