Cookbook Update

The electronic cookbook from Food Fare was originally planned for release this month, but was then rescheduled for May 2011.

Sorry to say, the release date might be pushed back even further. Since last October, I've received multiple publishing contracts for books written under one of my fiction monikers Deidre Dalton. Needless to say, I'm over the moon about my good fortune. I've worked long and hard for many years on my writing. To receive one publishing contract is incredible, but to have four in hand is a dream come true.

However, it leaves little time for anything else at the moment. Editing and finalizing eight books for release requires a great deal of focus. It's where my head has to be for the foreseeable future.

On a good note, the Food Fare Cookbook is basically a compilation of recipes I consider the cream of the crop from the web site. When I'm able to devote more time to it's completion, the process should go smoothly. At this point, I'm predicting the cookbook will be ready by May 2011. I'm not making any promises, but that's where it stands for right now.

Also, I want to thank those who have been supportive throughout the process. Just a few short years ago, I was ready to do away with the Food Fare web site altogether. It was only after several encouraging emails from readers that I decided to keep it going.

After writing and web design, time in the kitchen is a favorite pastime for me. I'm grateful for the opportunity to share recipes and quirky food facts with anyone who happens my way.
