Rolling in the Kitchen

I'm on a roll this weekend - two recipes down, one to go:
Tomato-Cheese Bread: Very tasty, but a bit thick and heavy. One piece will do you.
Carrot-Potato Cake: Lovely bit of food. I omitted raisins but added chopped walnuts; I used four real eggs rather than one cup of egg substitute and cut the sugar to 3/4 C from of 1-1/2 cups. No frosting on my cake, either.
I also cooked dinner for Wilbert, something I'm not overly fond of doing on weekends or most other days, for that matter. We enjoyed breakfast sausages and nice helpings of Uncle Mike's Spuds, a particular delight which has been in my family for years. I tried to be kind, despite having to wash-up dishes on four separate occasions today. For the last meal of the day, however, Wilbert returned the kindness and did the supper dishes.
It was also my plan to rustle up some Special K Cookies tomorrow, but I think I've had my fill of the kitchen for a few days.
