3 C whole wheat or rye flour
3 C raw oatmeal
1/2 C plain wheat germ
6 TBS margarine
1/4 C molasses
1 C evaporated milk
1 C water
2 or 3 multi-purpose canine vitamins, ground fine
In a bowl, mix the flour, crushed vitamins, oatmeal and wheat germ. Then add margarine, molasses, evaporated milk and water; blend well. Dough will be stiff. Chill for thirty minutes, and then roll rounded teaspoons into balls. Flatten with the back of a spoon or a fork, and place on an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake for one hour at 300-degrees F. Cool completely before serving.
Recommended: Add multi-purpose canine vitamins in the preparation of this dish to provide optimum nutrition for your dog (s). Use a mortar and pestle to crush the vitamins into a fine powder, and then mix well with the other ingredients.
