Italian Salad Dressing Herb Mix

For Halloween Jack O'Lantern Sandwiches

• 1 tsp. black pepper

• 1/4 tsp. celery salt

• 1 tsp. dried basil

• 2 TBS dried oregano

• 1 TBS dried parsley

• 1/4 tsp. dried thyme

• 1 TBS garlic salt

• 1 TBS granulated sugar

• 1 TBS onion powder

• 2 TBS salt

In a bowl, thoroughly combine all ingredients. Store mixture in a tightly sealed container.  Recipe makes enough for about sixteen servings.

Note: To prepare salad dressing from herb mixture, whisk together two tablespoons of the dry herb mix with 1/4 C white vinegar, slightly more than 1/2 C olive oil and two tablespoons water. Pour over green salads.
