1 large jar of herring, drained & chopped
1 green bell pepper, seeded & diced
1 bunch green onions, sliced (use greens)
2 C sour cream
1/2 C mayonnaise
1 TBS lemon juice
1 TBS sugar
Remove herring from jar; drain and chop coarsely. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, adding the chopped herring last.
Suggestions: Serve with bread, bread sticks, crackers or raw vegetables.
