Liqueur to taste (optional)
Brew a pot of black coffee. Sweeten the coffee with sugar to taste while hot, and then allow to cool. Pour coffee into a freezing tray or ice cube trays; place in the freezer. Allow the coffee to freeze, but not into solid blocks. Mash and beat semi-frozen coffee with a large fork, and then pour into individual glasses with a straw. Add favorite liqueur to taste (optional).
Note: Preparation method can also be used with orange and lemon juice for a refreshing drink.
