Creamy Pasta with Peas
1 C Farfalle pasta (bow-tie)
1/2 C fresh or frozen peas
1 TBS cornstarch
1 C milk
2 TBS butter or margarine
Salt & pepper to taste
Cook pasta and peas according to package directions; drain and set aside. In a medium pot, whisk milk into cornstarch over medium heat until smooth. Add butter, salt and pepper. Stir constantly until thickened. Fold pasta and peas into cream sauce, mix well. Serve hot.
