2 TBS butter
2 TBS cornstarch
1 C to 1-1/2 C cream or milk (or a combination of both)
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 bag frozen peas
Cook peas according to the package instructions; transfer to a serving bowl. In a pan, melt butter on low heat. Add cornstarch and whisk for about one minute. Gradually add cream, salt and black pepper. Stir frequently for a few minutes, or until sauce has thickened. Pour sauce over warm peas; toss to coat.
