Feline Cheeseburgers
2 ounces extra-lean ground beef
2 ounces lean ground chicken
1 TBS thick chicken soup (use canned if necessary)
2 ounces plain bread crumbs
1 baby carrot, cooked until soft and mashed
1 egg
1/2 cup mild cheddar cheese, grated
1 multi-purpose feline vitamin, ground fine
In a bowl, mash together beef and chicken with crushed vitamin and soup. Add bread crumbs, mashed carrot and egg. Using your hands, form two small patties. Cook under broiler until meat is no longer pink. Sprinkle with grated cheese and broil again until cheese is melted. Allow the patties to cool until just warm before serving. Refrigerate unused portions.
Recommended: Add multi-purpose feline vitamins in the preparation of this dish to provide optimum nutrition for your cat (s). Use a mortar and pestle to crush the vitamins into a fine powder, and then mix well with the other ingredients.
