6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
4 eggs, well beaten
1/8 C bacon fat
1 C water
1/2 C non-fat dry milk powder
2 C graham flour
2 C wheat germ
1/2 C cornmeal
1 multi-purpose canine vitamin, ground fine
In a bowl, mix all ingredients together (including crushed vitamin) with a strong wooden spoon. Drop heaping tablespoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350-degrees F for fifteen minutes. Turn off the oven, and leave cookies inside on the baking sheet to dry overnight. Makes about four dozen canine cookies.
Recommended: Add multi-purpose canine vitamins in the preparation of this dish to provide optimum nutrition for your dog (s). Use a mortar and pestle to crush the vitamins into a fine powder, and then mix well with the other ingredients.
