3 medium apples
2 C sliced celery
3/4 C slivered almonds, toasted
1 can (20 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained
1/2 LB sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
1/2 C sour cream
1/2 C mayonnaise
Salad greens (Iceberg, Romaine, Greenleaf)
Core the apples but do not peel. Slice apples; combine in a bowl with celery, almonds, pineapple and cheese cubes. In a small bowl, mix sour cream and mayonnaise. Add to apple mixture, toss to coat evenly. Serve on salad greens.
