1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/2 C rum
3 TBS light corn syrup
2-1/2 C vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 C powdered sugar, sifted
1 C pecans, finely chopped
More powdered sugar
Melt chocolate morsels in a double boiler, or in a microwave. When chocolate is melted and smooth, remove from the heat; stir in rum and corn syrup. Set aside. In a large bowl, mix together the vanilla crumbs, powdered sugar and pecans. Blend well. Stir into the chocolate mixture; allow to stand for about thirty minutes. Shape into 1" balls; roll balls in the extra powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Recipe makes about five dozen.
