6 eggs
2 C heavy cream
1 C milk
3/4 C sugar
1/2 C rum
1/2 C brandy
1/2 C whiskey
1 TBS nutmeg
Separate the eggs; set aside egg whites. Mix egg yolks well, gradually stirring in the cream, milk and sugar. Place egg whites in a bowl; whip them until soft peaks form. Fold the peaked egg whites into egg yolk mixture. Then slowly add the rum, brandy and whiskey; stir well. Allow egg nog to stand, uncovered, in the refrigerator for at least two hours. Sprinkle nutmeg on top just before serving.
