Normandy Rice Pudding
6 C milk
2/3 C Arborio rice
2/3 C sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
Nonstick cooking spray
Coat a crock-pot with nonstick cooking spray. Combine all ingredients in crock-pot; cook on low power for eight to six hours, or until pudding is thick and a light brown skin has formed on top. Serve warm or cold.
Note: Teurgoule is a regional specialty of Normandy. Teurgoule literally translates to "twist mouth."
