1/4 C orange-flavored liqueur
1/4 C orange juice
2 TBS brandy
1 pint fresh strawberries
1/2 C heavy cream or whipping cream
1-1/2 TBS confectioners' sugar
In a small bowl, combine the liqueur, juice and brandy. Halve strawberries; add to mixture and chill for at least one hour, spooning liquid over strawberries occasionally. In another bowl, whip cream until frothy with hand-mixer on high speed. Add sugar and beat until soft peaks form. Spoon strawberries into ice cream or sherbet dishes and top with whipped cream. Serve.
