Homemade Ketchup
1 can tomato paste
1/4 C water
1/4 C brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
2 TBS cider vinegar
Mix all of the ingredients together, cover and refrigerate. Use in a timely manner as homemade ketchup will not keep as long as store-bought ketchup, due to absence of preservatives.
