4 slices Texas Toast bread
4 TBS olive oil
3 cloves garlic, crushed
Salt & black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400-degrees F. Trim crusts from the bread; slice lengthwise into french-fry cuts and then cube slices into preferred sizes. In a bowl, combine garlic, olive oil, salt and black pepper. Add bread cubes and toss to coat evenly. Place coated bread cubes on a cookie sheet and bake for about ten minutes. Allow to cool before serving. Refrigerate unused portions in an airtight container for up to three days.
Suggestions: Add garlic croutons to salads or soups, or eat as a snack.
