Sledz w Smietanie
4 herring filets
Lemon juice
1/2 onion, sliced thin
1 C sour cream
1 tsp. powdered sugar
Paprika
Cut herring filets into 2-inch pieces; arrange on a platter. Sprinkle each herring piece with lemon juice and top with onion slice. In a bowl, blend sour cream with powdered sugar. Pour over herring. Cover platter with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
