1 C nuts, chopped
5 TBS bourbon
1/2 C butter, softened
1 pkg. (16 oz.) confectioners' sugar
18 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
Waxed paper
Place nuts in a sealable jar. Pour bourbon over nuts; seal and allow to soak overnight. In a bowl, mix together butter and sugar; fold in the soaked nuts. Form mixture into 3/4" balls; refrigerate overnight. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler over just-barely simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching. Roll balls in melted chocolate to coat; arrange on prepared tray. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
