1 medium ripe avocado
2 plain bagels, split & toasted
1 TBS slivered almonds (optional)
Dash of salt
Dash of lemon
Peel avocado and remove pit. Chop avocado into pieces and place into a bowl. Mash with a fork, potato masher or pestle until smooth. Add salt and lemon; stir. Add slivered almonds to mixture if desired; stir. Spread avocado mixture onto toasted bagels. Serve.
