A-FRAME COTTAGE

Larkin Estate Details: A-Frame Cottage

A-Frame Cottage (on the grounds of the Larkin estate): Scott Page and Shannon Larkin purchased two acres half a mile from the mansion in June 1973 (The Twain Shall Meet). The area was completely flat, and close to the main drive of the estate. There were several trees - pine, oak and spruce – in a cluster where they built their home.

The two-story A-Frame "cottage" has a main level with a kitchen, dining room, living room, one bedroom, a main bathroom, and a large deck through sliding glass doors that is connected to the living room. Up a winding stairwell, also starting in the living room are two bedrooms and a bathroom, each room opening onto a balcony that overlook the main floor. The basement has one bedroom, a laundry area, a small bathroom and a game room.

The master suite on the second floor has a king-sized bed with an oaken frame and flanked by two end tables. The bathroom contains a glassed-in shower and Jacuzzi tub, with a triangular window to the right of the sink. A divan and two brocaded chairs are arranged by the two large windows in the suite, which overlook the front yard of the cottage and afford a view of the Japanese bridge down the estate driveway.

Scott and Shannon returned to the mansion in 1987. Their son, Jamie Page, moved into the A-Frame Cottage in 1992. The home later becomes the scene of multiple violent crimes involving Jack Sansovino (Hearts Desires and Megan's Legacy).
