This sounds odd, but I think I'm going to try it:

Tomato Soup Spice Cake

2 C all-purpose flour

1-1/3 C sugar

4 tsp. baking powder

1-1/2 tsp. ground allspice

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp. ground cloves

1 can (10-3/4 oz.) Campbell's Tomato Soup

1/2 C vegetable shortening

2 eggs

1/4 C water

Cream Cheese Frosting

Preheat oven to 350-degrees F. Grease 13" x 9" baking pan. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, allspice, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves in bowl. Add soup, shortening, eggs and water. Beat until mixed, using mixer at low speed. Beat four minutes, using high speed. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for forty minutes or until done. Cool in pan on wire rack. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting (see below).

Cream Cheese Frosting: Beat one package (8 oz.) cream cheese (softened), 2 tablespoons milk and one teaspoon vanilla in bowl until creamy, using mixer at medium speed. Slowly beat in one package (16 oz.) confectioners' sugar, mixing until smooth and spreading consistency. (Add a little more milk if needed.) Makes 3 cups.

Believe it or not, the recipe comes from Campbell's Kitchen.
