Burger King has launched a new version of their French fries, to be cut thicker and prepared using less sodium. According to Reuters, the fries are also crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.
The company announced a thicker-cut potato that gives each bite a "fluffier potato flavor on the inside" while still crunchy on the outside. They will be cooked in trans fat-free vegetable oil and have 20% less sodium than their predecessors.
Burger King will begin selling their new fries on Monday, December 5th.
They will also offer a free value-size order of the new fries on Friday, December 16th while supplies last.
Better yet: no purchase necessary.
