Sunday Mixed Bag

It was a mixed bag for food today: breakfast actually became lunch and included hotcakes made with Bisquick, two link sausages, one piece of bacon and homemade hash browns. For an afternoon snack I had Keebler Club Crackers with a thin slice from a Kaukauna cheese ball with almonds, and two Sweet's Orange Sticks.
The chocolate-covered orange sticks bring back a lot of memories. I remember my rather elegant great-aunt setting them out in glass dishes around Christmastime because she thought it in poor taste to offer them to guests from the box.
For dinner, it was chicken fried steak with quartered red potatoes, green beans and red peppers from Boston Market's frozen dinner variety.
Tomorrow we'll nibble on more leftover turkey. Sigh.
