Noodles for Lunch
Posted Sat, 09/18/04
Today's lunch consisted of an "instant" meal from the Thai Kitchen. Called "Noodle Kits," the Thai Peanut variety cooked in about three minutes. Despite the small single-serving quantity, the cellophane noodles were quite good and the sauce had a zesty tang.
Yesterday I went all-out and prepared Wilbert a proper breakfast with link sausages, Potatoes O'Brien and scrambled eggs, so today he's on his own for culinary fixings. I bought an extra box of Thai noodles, but knowing him the amount will never suffice. When he resorts to canned ravioli for dinner, it's a signal that he's hungry for a home cooked meal.
He can wish in one hand, with a frying pan in the other.
