Java Heaven

It's been a decade or more since I've been able to obtain Chock Full O'Nuts locally. The supreme coffee is based on the East Coast so it is difficult to find in western states. Once in a blue moon a can or two will show up on store shelves (in error, I'm sure), but it is much too expensive to purchase online.

Chock Full O'Nuts

Lo and behold, my mother found Chock Full O'Nuts at the local Rite Aid yesterday. She saw it displayed in the Sunday newspaper ads, and then flew down to the store to buy several cans. We both felt like excited little kids finding a treasure, or a hidden cache of candy.

This morning we experienced our first cup of Chock Full O'Nuts coffee for the first time in more than a decade. It was just as I remembered: smooth and incomparably tasteful, heartily earning their "heavenly coffee" metaphor.

I've never had a better or more enjoyable cup of coffee in my twenty-six years as an admitted and bona fide java addict.
