Mac & Cheese with a Twist

Here's a tasty twist on Macaroni & Cheese:

 

Crispy Macaroni & Cheese

1 can (10-3/4 oz.) Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup

1/2 C milk

1/2 tsp. prepared mustard

Generous dash black pepper

3 C hot cooked elbow pasta

2 C shredded cheddar cheese

1 can (2.8 oz.) French-fried onions

 

Mix soup, milk, mustard, black pepper, pasta and 1-1/2 cups cheese in 1-1/2-quart casserole dish. Bake at 400-degrees F for twenty minutes or until hot. Stir. Sprinkle with onions and remaining cheese. Bake one minute more or until onions are golden. Tip: Recipe may be doubled. Use three-quart shallow baking dish. Hints: Serve this meatless pasta dish with fresh sliced tomatoes drizzled with a vinaigrette dressing and steamed green beans.
