Dinner in Cardboard

You'd think after the swish through Bon Appetit yesterday I'd have figured out a better dinner for tonight. But by the time supper rolled around, it was out with the Banquet TV dinners and a cup of coffee. I don't know where the day flittered away to, other than I spent most of it up to my eyeballs in revisions for my next book.
However, this morning I did manage to pull a slew of green onions from the garden, as well as a large handful of yellow wax beans. Things are coming along nicely with the vegetables, although I'm still uncertain if the zucchini has made it or not. Time will tell.
I've taken pains to prepare enough vegetables to add to a pork stir-fry I plan to make tomorrow. The meat is marinating as we speak, soaked in a combination of teriyaki, garlic and a dash of soy sauce. This perfect marinade works every time, and turns out some wonderfully tenderized meat.
If I can find time tomorrow to pull my nose out of book revisions, I'll whip up enough stir fry to last us two days at least – and then it's back to the drawing board.
