Taco Bell Terminal

Wilbert and I stopped for lunch at Taco Bell this afternoon, taking our order home. His two stuffed burritos turned out well, but the chicken Gordita I ordered was "stuffed" full of lettuce and little else. The price for my lunch was $4.79. I was sorely tempted to telephone the restaurant and cry foul.
Is it in my imagination, or is fast food becoming more and more of a wallet-liability for consumers? My experiences of late have left me wondering: there seems to be a lot of filler and little substance in some of the higher priced meals. It's becoming very tiresome.
I should have returned the meal to Taco Bell and demanded my money back. However, by the time we returned home and found the cheesy excuse for a meal, more than thirty minutes had passed and I was in no mood to pile back in the van and return to the scene of the crime. Telephoning was an option of course, but I was too busy griping and picking the few shriveled dots of tomato from my Gordita. I think a letter would be more in order, but what's the point?
Fast food deception is now becoming the latest trend in a long line of customer rip off's.
