Pace's Dairy Ann (est. 1957) is the local burger commodity in my current area, although Carmack's was a mainstay for decades until they closed their doors a few years ago.

I have to admit I'm not much of a burger aficionado. Beef is just not at the top of list of my favorites.

However, although completely unrelated, I'm thrilled that a Mikado opened nearby a few years ago. Mikado has to be my favorite restaurant (try their original salad dressing), just ahead of Kyoto in Salt Lake City (chicken teriyaki and rice) and Casa de Oro in Spokane (their Chile Relleno's are to die for!).

Good grief, now I'm hungry . . .
