Ice Cream Run

I'm not usually a big fan of ice cream (I might partake once or twice a year at most), but earlier this evening Wilbert and I tooled over to Baskin-Robbins for a tasty treat. If I'm going to eat ice cream, I try to get mint chocolate chip. However, this time I ordered a milkshake in the mint flavor and it was sheer bliss. It was a perfect end for a hot day, and a nice reward for the hours of slog I put in front of the computer this afternoon.
Wilbert chose the New York Cheesecake milkshake flavor. We also ordered two servings of one-scoop ice cream (one vanilla and the other butter pecan) for our dogs. I know sweets are unhealthy for canines, so I only allow Foofer the treat once or twice a year, and then in small amounts.
Our puppy Rainee is new to the household, and today was her first go-round with vanilla ice cream. She was of course delighted, and once finished simply wanted more.
