Those Were the Days

It's hard to imagine a three-decker bacon and tomato sandwich costing fifty cents these days. However, back in the late 1950's and early 1960's that's exactly what Woolworth's was charging on their menu.
A friend of mine sent me a copy of the menu, which also lists a chicken salad sandwich for sixty-five cents, a banana split for thirty-nine cents, a milk shake for twenty-five cents and a slice of apple pie for fifteen cents.
