According to Barnes & Noble, some people who have purchased copies of the Food Fare Cookbook also bought the Cajun Cookbook by SS Alexander, Mr. Moms Favorite Family Meals by Chef Dave, and Famous Coffee House Recipes by Chef's Secret Vault.
I'm very happy with the sales statistics for the Food Fare Cookbook. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the book took off. It's outselling a few of my fiction titles at the moment, oddly enough.
The other day I was in the office of my car insurance agent. We were talking about all and sundry, but somehow the conversation came to my books, both fiction and cooking titles. The agent whipped out her Kindle reader and quickly bought a copy of the Food Fare Cookbook.
Word of mouth is just as important as online and print advertising, especially with a quality product.
As for Amazon statistics, people who purchased copies of the Food Fare Cookbook also bought Blood, Bones & Butter by Gabrielle Hamilton, Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain, and Barefoot Contessa Cookbook by Ina Garten.
Not such bad company...
