I was born in Connecticut, but spent most of my adult life on the west coast. I've never felt any sort of connection to the west, despite the amount of time I've spent there. I feel absolutely...nothing for the west. However, I've always been pulled to the east coast. It's been my desire to move back many times over the years, but there always seemed to be something in the way (family, marriages, relationships, finances, etc).
Every Christmas I tell myself: "This time next year, I'll be back east." My dream has yet to be realized, but I'm not one to give up easily. I'm bound and bloody well determined to go "home" before long.
