I'm finally going to have my "medical adventure" on June 5, 2008 and will be ensconced for about a week. There are those among you who know where to reach me if you feel so inclined.
If not, contact my sainted mother and if she deems you trustworthy she'll give over all the gory details.
Needless to say, I won't be able to respond to any messages via e-mail until I come home, which will hopefully occur at the end of next week.
*POSTSCRIPT (Thu, 06/12/08): Back on the Blog Rails . . . I'm back from my "medical adventure" but not the least bit interested in food yet. Hospital cuisine is absolutely nothing to write home about it I assure you, even if I could consume it. For those interested, I'm slowly recovering from abdominal surgery but hope to be fully functional by next week - or, at best, able to eat a decent meal.
