Healthy Lunch

We had a nice little deli selection for lunch today. Around noon I laid out an assortment of goodies on the kitchen table, including slices of cracked wheat bread, thinly-sliced deli chicken meat, mayonnaise, mustard, sliced tomato and avocado, alfalfa sprouts, lettuce and Swiss cheese.
It was a delectable and healthy lunch. I also had a tall glass of Campbell's V8 Berry Blend Splash, a beverage I've lately come to enjoy.
If I could convince my husband to eat wholesome food for a long stretch of time – with no sweets or pick-up's from McDonald's – I would be one happy camper.
