Appetizing Muse

This afternoon Wilbert and I tried the new Spicy Meatball Pizza from Papa John's. We saw the ad for it several days ago but refrained. From past experience, we know Papa John's pizzas are over-priced without much substance to match. As a result, we haven't bought their food for more than two years.

We caved today and ordered the spicy meatball pizza for $13.01. It helps the eatery is only a few minutes walk from our house. It didn't matter, unfortunately.

As advertised, the pizza is supposed to be loaded with spicy mini-meatballs but had perhaps two per slice, and they were hardly spicy. There was more sauce and thick crust than anything else, I'm sorry to say. The pizza is definitely not worth the asking price. Even the dogs turned-up their noses at the unappetizing mess.

So we live and learn - yet again.

Having been burned twice, I highly discourage people from wasting their money at Papa John's Pizza.
