Exotic Beverage

The following sounds like a drink for the upper crust. Maybe I'll try it when I'm sitting on my porch in Maine some years hence as I watch the waves of the Atlantic Ocean roll in.
Mata Hari
1 ounce Cognac (such as Courvoisier VS)
Put all ingredients into a mixing glass. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with dried rose buds. Yield: 1 Serving.
The recipe comes from Mixologist Jason Kosmas of Employees Only in New York City and was then adapted by Star Chefs.
