Appetizing Muse

Wilbert brought me a deli salad from Fred Meyer today. It was one of the best I've had in a long while. The printed label on the container read: "Pea & Bacon Salad."

As I ate, I tried to dissect the ingredients:

Cooked frozen peas

Crumbled bacon

Grated cheddar cheese

Sliced celery (very small)

Sliced green onion

Sliced apple cubes (also very small)

The dressing had a mayonnaise base, although there was extra bit of sweetness added (perhaps from the peas?). I'm going to do a bit of experimenting to see what I can come up with.

The salad was delicious.
