Spicy Morning After

Here's a spicy way to start the new year from Campbell's Kitchen:

 

Sausage & Peppers for a Dozen

3 LBS sweet Italian sausage or hot Italian sausage, cut into 2" pieces

3 medium onions, sliced

3 medium green bell peppers, cut into strips

1 jar (67 oz.) Prego Traditional Pasta Sauce (7-1/2 C)

12 Italian sandwich rolls, split

Grated Parmesan cheese

 

Place the sausage in a 16½"x12"x2½" disposable foil pan. Bake at 425-degrees F for forty-five minutes or until sausage is browned; pour off fat. Add the onions, peppers and pasta sauce. Cover. Bake for an additional forty-five minutes or until done. Serve on rolls with cheese. Recipe makes enough for twelve servings.
