Savory Sausage Bites

• 1 LB hot pork sausage

• 1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

• 1/2 C finely chopped onion

• 1/3 C fresh parsley, chopped

• 3 TBS prepared mustard

• 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

• 4 1/2 C all-purpose baking mix (Bisquick or Jiffy)

• 1 1/4 C breadcrumbs

• 2 1/2 TBS paprika

In a food processor, combine uncooked sausage, cream cheese, onion, parsley, mustard, and garlic powder; process until just blended. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl. Stir in the baking mix. Cover and chill for one hour. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and paprika. Shape the sausage mixture into 1" balls. Roll each ball in the breadcrumb mixture. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet, and bake for about 25 minutes at 350-degrees F (or until the outside is a golden brown). Serve warm.
