Algerian mint tea
1-1/2 TBS green tea leaves
Boiling water
3 TBS sugar (or to taste)
Handful of fresh mint leaves
Place green tea leaves into a teapot. Pour in a cupful of boiling water, then immediately pour out again to wash the leaves. Add sugar to the teapot; then add the mint leaves. Pour in boiling water 12-inches away from the top of the teapot; stir well. Allow tea to steep for a few minutes before serving.
