Beverages > Leftovers > New Years Eve > Valentine's Day > Coffee Freeze >
3/4 C sugar
1-1/2 C milk
1-1/2 C leftover brewed coffee, cold
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C whipping cream
In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat; let stand until cool. Combine milk mixture, cold brewed coffee, vanilla and one cup whipping cream; mix well. Pour mixture into loaf pan; freeze until it has a slush consistency, about one to two hours. Beat the remaining whipping cream until stiff peaks form; do not over-beat. Just before serving, stir slush mixture and spoon into dessert dishes, filling 2/3 full. Top with whipped cream. Recipe makes twelve 1/2 cup servings.
