Preheat oven to 400-degrees F. Place breadcrumbs in a large bowl. In a saucepan, warm milk with the butter; pour mixture over the breadcrumbs and allow to stand for about ten minutes to absorb liquid. In another bowl, beat eggs with a dash of salt. Whisk egg mixture into breadcrumbs. Stir in the cheese; add mustard, salt and black pepper to taste. Place mixture into a shallow baking dish; smooth out the top with a spatula. Bake in center oven for thirty to thirty-five minutes, or until pudding rises and turns golden in color. Serve.
