6 beef strip steaks
12 small rock oysters, cleaned & shucked
2 TBS teriyaki sauce
1 TBS olive oil
6 slices bacon
Cut through the sides of each side with a knife to create a pocket. Fill each pocket with two oysters; secure with a toothpick to close. Drizzle steaks with teriyaki sauce; cover and refrigerate for about one hour to marinate. Just before cooking, wrap each steak in a bacon slice; secure with another toothpick if necessary. Grill steaks under a broiler or outdoor grill for eight to ten minutes, turning once. Cook to desired doneness; remove toothpicks before serving.
Suggestion: Serve steaks with green salad and buttered crusty bread.
