Brussels Sprouts Polonaise
1-1/2 LBS. Brussels sprouts
2 C water
Salt
1-1/2 TBS butter
1-1/2 TBS toasted breadcrumbs
Wash Brussels sprouts; place in a cooking pot with boiling, salted water. Bring to a boil again. Cook uncovered for three minutes. Then cover and cook on low for an additional twenty minutes. Drain and place in a warming dish. Melt butter in a small saucepan; add breadcrumbs. Mix well. Fry for about three minutes, or until breadcrumbs are golden. Pour over Brussels sprouts and serve.
