British Mixed Spice

• 1TBS ground cinnamon

• 2 tsp. ground allspice

• 2 tsp. ground nutmeg

• 1 tsp. ground cloves

• 1 tsp. ground ginger

• 1 tsp. ground coriander

• 3/4 tsp. ground mace

Combine all the spices in an airtight glass; mix well. Store in a dark cool place for up to several months. Recipe makes about 1/4 cup of mixed spice.

Note: British Mixed Spice is commonly used in Orange Veggie Cake.
