Ayran
Syrian cold yogurt drink
1-1/4 C plain yogurt
2 C carbonated water (plain Perrier)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 TBS lemon juice
1-1/2 tsp. ground cumin
Add all ingredients to a blender; mix well. Chill for one or two hours; serve cold in tall glasses.
Note: Ayran is also known as Susurluk Ayrani.
